Common Heritage Corporation has demonstrated and proven its innovative deep ocean water (DOW) technologies and is now conducting detailed research in Hawai’i, Saipan, and Tahiti.
In addition, we are exploring strategic partnerships to deploy and commercialize DOW technologies in the Bahamas, Brazil, Cape Verde, Chile, Curaçao, Haiti, Jamaica, Korea, the Marshall Islands, Mexico, Oman, Saipan, Samoa, Tahiti, and Taiwan.
In these areas and others worldwide, CHC is poised to present the next level of DOW systems: communities built around DOW resources where DOW technologies also create economically viable development opportunities while ensuring environmentally sustainable communities.
What DOW technologies does CHC offer?
All CHC technologies harness the cold properties of the ocean's deep waters, with the majority of water returning to the ocean in its original, pristine form. A small portion is used in systems that warm the water, then evaporate it. The end product is a nutrient-rich mineral salt.
Our uncomplicated, innovative applications work together to provide profitable systems of services and products. This holistic, systems-based approach replicates that of the natural world. As in nature, the individual steps and processes involved in bringing CHC products and technologies to communities in need do not exist in a vacuum. When considered system-wide versus in isolation, they are universally more efficient in terms of cost, energy consumption, and resource utilization.
CHC's initial offering of DOW services and products include: Air Conditioning and Industrial Cooling
In areas where such amenities have never before been feasible, DOW cooling is now an affordable reality in residential and industrial buildings. This CHC technology, which utilizes the cold properties of DOW is reliable, environmentally sustainable, and can reduce cooling costs by more than 90 percent when compared to conventional systems.
ColdAg
Dubbed the "Blue-Green Revolution," this agricultural technology uses cold DOW to create a healthy soil environment suitable for countless plant species to grow and thrive in the harshest of tropical, coastal conditions. The cooled soil creates a constant springtime condition, promoting vigorous growth of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs associated with virtually any climate zone. This CHC innovation allows for soil temperature control and plant dormancy, enabling multiple crop production per year. And it requires little, if any, irrigation, as the cold pipes spawn abundant freshwater
condensation.

Lush turf in tropical deserts is now also a practical, economical reality with CHC's ColdAg™ technology. Top quality cool-season and warm-season grasses can blanket recreational parks, playing fields, and golf courses in coastal communities where fresh water is limited. Using ColdAg™ technology, fresh water condensation forms on cold DOW pipes and spreads to roots, eliminating the need for irrigation by 75 percent or more. Grass roots grow deeper, providing better and safer playing surfaces while withstanding impact and the ability to readily able to repair itself.
SkyWater
Delicious fresh water literally falls from the sky with CHC's innovative SkyWater technology. In coastal desert communities, where rainfall is scant and humidity high, the interplay between the atmosphere and the surface of pipes filled with cold DOW yields pure drinking water under controlled, pristine conditions. There are few processing steps and moving parts, and SkyWater can be produced less expensively than other water processes, such as reverse osmosis and desalinization, which have heavy energy demands.
